In June,2012, we attended the NASFT (National Association for the Specialty Food Trade) . For exhibitors, it was a fantastic opportunity to launch a new product or package or to unveil some other marketing surprise to win the attention from one of the biggest captive audiences under one roof in the industry. For attendees, it was a chance to meet suppliers, learn about new products and to sample the finest food currently being made by the best producers of specialty foods in the world.
More than 2,500 exhibitors from every corner of the world sampled their gourmet delicacies to over 20,000 trade attendees who represented industry movers and shakers, including buyers of specialty food stores and supermarkets, distributors, importers and exporters, manufacturers, brokers, media and other trade experts. There were over 150,000 culinary treats on show from all categories including, Baked Goods; Condiments; Oils; Spreads & Syrup; Snacks; Seafood; Confectionery; as well as Lifestyle (which includes Gluten-Free, Kosher, Organic etc.) to name a few.
